ciao from poor little rich bitch in the kitch


PUT DOWN that Dolce Vita menu plrg. Who do you think you are? Did you not go out to dinner twice this weekend? Hmm? Did you go out to brunch too? Do you think we didn't know that Top Shop opened and you definitely made an appearance? No worries, poor little rich bitch in the kitch is here to help. So put on you fav tunes, throw on you slippers, and get your ass in that kitch!

Whole wheat pasta with Pesto and pine nuts.
Ingredients:
Whole wheat pasta (linguini, fettachina, shells - your preference!)
Pesto
Olive oil
Pine nuts
Parmesean cheese

Cooking directions:
Bring a half pot of water to a boil and add pasta. While pasta is cooking bake the pine nuts in a frying pan till they are golden-brown. Set aside the pine nuts. Use the same frying pan and put in pesto sauce and a splash of olive oil. Stir frequently and let simmers. Once pasta is fully cooked pour into mixing bowl and add pine nuts and pesto mix. Grade parmesean cheese on top to your liking.

Great complimentary side: slice up a fresh whole wheat loaf of bread and place on cooking sheet. Heat oven to 300 degrees and place bread in oven for 5-8 minutes. check frequently and take it out when it begins to toast. Make a dipping mix for the toast of olive oil, salt and pepper.
